Napa, CA (January 30, 2013) – The hundreds of hours, we, at Benefits Plus Inc., have devoted to researching PPACA have given us a unique perspective and deep understanding of the new health care law. In August, 2012 we began our live webinar series. In September, 2012 we held round table meetings in Napa and Pleasanton. In March- 2013, we plan to introduce our Employer Guide. Most of the available information about PPACA is about “WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW.” There is an overwhelming amount of information on the internet, and many of you will find it difficult and time consuming to devote your precious resources to sort through the thousands of pages of the law and determine what parts of it apply to you and your company. (FYI – some estimates suggest the law, when fully written could be close to 200,000 pages)

What makes our presentations and information unique is our focus on “WHAT YOU NEED TO DO.” Our goal is to provide you with the steps necessary for initial compliance and ongoing compliance for a law with NEW provisions written on a daily basis; to provide you with the tools necessary to inform and educate your employees and avoid the costly penalties you could be subject to if you fail to comply (penalties range from $125 to $2,000 per employee); to provide your company with premium and cash flow models so you can actually budget for the future costs of health care.

Complying with The New Health Care Law, PPACA – Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, will prove to be a challenge for employers and business owners. As in many state and federal laws, the employer or business owner is a natural conduit or bridge between the law and working Americans. Providing accurate and timely information on this complex issue is the value we hope to add, particularly as provisions of PPACA become effective.
